Sweet Designs by Amy Atlas {Book Signing!!}

Here's a photo of me with my friend Nikki. She's the creative genius behind Nikki in Stitches. Go visit, you can find her site in my sidebar ~~~~>

Notice the book I'm clinging to for dear life? That's Sweet Designs, written by the brilliant, Amy Atlas! A few years ago, I started this blog as a place to post pictures of my cakes & cookies... then I found Amy!!!
I quickly found out that there was a whole other world out there... a world of bloggers...blogging about parties...and sweet tables, I was hooked and the rest is history!

I was fortunate enough to meet Amy at her book signing today.  She shared a little about the science behind creating the perfect sweet table.  You can tell she absolutely loves what she does and has such a creative mind that's always working.  She even had a store employee bring over something she'd noticed earlier in the store and told how we could incorporate it into a table design~ pretty cool!  And speaking of cool,  Amy is the sweetest and most down to earth person you could meet.  She and her assistant, Lisa hung around after the demo to answer questions and chat.   So much fun! : )

~Me and Amy~

I've only started paging through my book but can tell you it's amazing!!  If you love parties, entertaining, hosting, sweets, or just like pretty things you definitely NEED to pick up a copy!  Check back soon and I just MIGHT be able to help you get a hold of a copy...
