Snowman~ Blizzard Cupcakes~

That time of year has come around again, the start of my cake/cookie decorating class. The class is part of an after~school program run by my daughter's school.
These adorable cupcakes were made by 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th graders!!!

We called these BLIZZARD cupcakes, due to the impending weather. It was a simple project for kids. I just had them roll out 3 balls of fondant & put them on a tooth pick. the scarves & cute, carrot noses are also fondant. They were "glued on" with a little bit of water. they eyes & buttons were drawn on with WILTON FOOD WRITERS. http://search.wilton.com/?q=food+writer&x=0&y=0

Can you believe the talent of these youngsters??!!? It's a 6 week class so lots more pictures to come!! : )
